20个可回收和耐用的镀锌建筑

锌是从矿石中提取的天然元素。元素周期表中的符号是Zn。通过燃烧其杂质(减少氧化锌和精炼)的冶金过程,它会呈现出更加友好的外观,后来成为建筑中使用的板材,卷材和辊子。这种材料的主要具有可塑性,易于加工,可以适应建筑物外墙和屋顶的复杂形状。

锌天然耐腐蚀。安装后六个月到两年,根据气候,建筑物的暴露程度以及大气的侵蚀性,它会形成一种称为铜绿(浅灰色)的天然层,这种物质会使其具有长寿命(根据以上因素,时间可长达120年)。有趣的是,在锌的生命周期之外,它不需要任何特殊维护。实际上,在其整个生命周期中,锌都在持续形成保护层,这可以修正它的缺陷。锌的另一个有趣的特性是100%的轧制或加工的锌产品在其生命周期结束时是可回收的,并且与建筑中使用的其他金属相比,它们在组装过程中消耗的能量很少。
